Well, it's my 26th birthday today...I'm gettin' old. Anyways, instead of today being a joyous occasion, it has confirmed what I've long suspected: my birthday falls at the worst time of year EVER. Not only do I have to miss out on mid-year birthdays in school and all that fun stuff, but it usually falls that the first day OF school is my birthday! Today, for instance, I have teacher in-service all day long, and as a kicker, Lacey has to work tonight. Ugh. Perhaps things will look up this evening, you never know.
