Well, the season premiere of 24 was last night, and of course Lacey and I were watching with baited breath. I have to say, I enjoyed it, it was pretty good...but I was a tad disappointed. Perhaps my expectations of the show have risen so high that it can never match up. I accept that. However, they seem to be going a little overboard. I won't spoil it for any of you, so let's just say that Kiefer needs a break. Can't he still save the world while being in a powerful position (i.e. director of FBI or something), rather than being relegated to doing everyone's (and I mean EVERYone's) dirty work? It seems as though the writers are doing everything in their power to make Jack go through as much as is humanly possible...and then more. That said, I like the storyline, and a lot of the side plots. I still think it is going to be a great season. These are just small gripes. It's still the best show on TV, bar none.
