With about a month left to the big day, I keep getting asked, "so, are you nervous yet?" And I think it's a pretty strange question. I mean, I know why you would ask pagans that, since they ONLY get to sleep with one more person the rest of their lives...how tragic (he said with a sarcastic grin). But I'm not nervous at all...and I don't plan on becoming so. To me, it's what I've been waiting for all my life. I am excited and very much ready to be married. So I find it odd that people ask me about being nervous. Is that just something you ask people who are about to be married, when you don't have anything else to talk about, or what?
By the way, as a shameless plug, you can buy stuff for Lacey and I's wedding at the three places we're registered at:
Target, Dillards, and Pier One. And they all have online gift registries and shopping. Man, I feel guilty for posting this:)
Posted by Josh Melton at May 4, 2004 04:41 PMit's just standard fare. that and lots of people get nervous standing up in front of a bunch of people on the biggest day of your life. I was very excited, but yet had to concentrate on not passing out.
and get ready for: "how's married life?"
Posted by: bobw at May 4, 2004 06:25 PMI wasn't nervous either...until Candice showed up just 15 minutes before the ceremony. I was thinking, "This chick is gonna stand me up!"
