Springfield

Interesting that Josiah just did a post on the hell that is Branson.

For those of you who don't know, Lacey and I are moving from good ol' Monroe. My job is relocating me to Springfield, Missouri. I just visited there last weekend. It is really a nice place. I haven't visited Branson yet, but I'm sure it can't be ALL bad. Anyway, the economy is much better than here, there is tons more to do, and we're excited to be going. It is sad to leave our church, all of our friends, and all of Lacey's family, but it will be a great opportunity, and I think we will have a great time. We usually do. Anyway, if you think of it, please pray for us. We'll be living in a strange city, with not many people we know, and a brand new church. Especially pray for Lacey, since she will be away from her family for the first time in her life, other than just a vacation or something.

Our friends Jeremy & Brandy Sexton live somewhere close enough to Springfield to drive there for church (CRE). Hopefully you'll run into them. I'll miss y'all, although I probably won't see you any less that I do now (and hopefully I'm overstating things only slightly, i.e. hopefully you'll visit often). I never thought I'd say this, but in so many ways those days when we lived in Moscow and had nothing to do but go to school/work and hang out...yeah, those were the days.

The Lord be with you in your journey.

Greetings from Springfield, MO!

A group of us from Christ the King Church (CRE) here in Springfield will be making our way down to Monroe the first week of January for the AAPC Pastor's Conference. (There are about 10 of us going; if you get to Springfield before then, perhaps you can take a quick jaunt back with us.)

Anyway, drop me a line at jcaudle@sdgmusic.us and I will give you directions to where our church meets, and let you know when we meet. We would love to have you visit, and if you like us as much as we like Steve Wilkins, Duane Garner, and AAPC, perhaps you will want to do more than visit.

Josh, did you hear about the Better Business Bureau thing in the Monroe paper a couple weeks ago - it sounded like it was about your company? If not, I think we still have a copy we could mail you.
