Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a Star Wars nut. Ok, so I'm not Matt Wilkins, but I just plain love the movies, and that's that. Episodes 1 and 2? Loved 'em. That's how hardcore I am:) Anyway, I just want to put my two cents out there on the episode 3, lucas, etc. I finally saw the trailer for episode 3 last night during the OC, and then downloaded it today, and I am freaked OUT! I don't know if I can wait another 2 months! Granted, this trailer wasn't as well-crafted as those for episodes 1 and 2, but the movie looks amazing. And let me just say this, I even love the title: Revenge of the Sith. That says it all! So to all you haters, those people who think they're too cool for school and are putting that "george-lucas-is-a-hack" crap out there so it makes them look hip (i swear if i read the word hipster on another blog i'm going to scream) you can feel free to not comment on this blog. Because there's no way you're going to change my mind. i guess when it comes to star wars, i'll always be a kid at heart. george lucas: i salute you. thanks for all 6 movies, i love every minute of them. and i'm sure billions of dollars allows you to ignore all those jealous twenty and thirty-somethings that can only wish they had such great ideas.
Posted by jmmelton at March 11, 2005 02:53 PMThat trailer rocks. This movie is going to be awesome as it closes the final gap between old and new and brings us full circle to Episode 4. Some people get their ha-ha's in whining about the movies are ruined because the special effects are too good (?), but I love the way the space and ground battle scenes look in these movies... even if sometimes that makes it look like weapon technology was more advanced in the Clone Wars era.
Posted by: Josh McInnis at March 15, 2005 09:20 AMBelieve me when I say he recorded the OC on our DVR and it is still on there. Even though he missed the last 30 seconds of the trailer:( (I thought you were going to have a heart attack)! Because our TV turns automatically to the next channel it has to record about 2 minutes before the show comes on. I know it's a little confusing but you'll understand one day.
Posted by: Lacey at March 16, 2005 09:23 AMThat last 30 seconds were the best too! Scrap the tape... check it out online at www.starwars.com.
Posted by: Josh McInnis at March 16, 2005 09:55 PMYeah, I think he's already done that at least elevendybillion times. It's not the same though on our TV, and it's not the same on our TV as it is on the big screen, that's why we have to see Robots.
