Now that I've seen Knocked Up again, I'm revisiting in my head all the classic comedies I can remember. The reason? My question:
Out of all the comedies you've ever quoted, which one do you quote the most?
My answer will be in the form of a list. Feel free to contribute your own.
1.National Lampoon's Vacation
2.Zoolander
3.The 40-year-old Virgin
4.Napolean Dynamite
5.Dumb and Dumber
I'll submit Ace Ventura, Office Space, and Swingers to your list.
When the Simpsons movie comes out on DVD, I'm sure I'll be hearing more quotes than I'd like from you-know-who. :)
I also find that action films have a high humor quotability too. Any of those make your list?
Posted by: emily at September 27, 2007 03:39 PMoooooooooh, swingers and office space - nice. Forgot about those 2.
As far as action films, I dunno. I can't think of any off the top of my head. Maybe the Terminator movies? I'll be back. Hasta la vista, baby. Stuff like that.
Posted by: UJ at September 28, 2007 06:37 AMYou kind of quote Anchor Man a lot too, so you might want to add that one as well....and maybe Along came Polly and Meet the Faulkers!
